Peter Yakubenko

Principal Developer
COMSOL AB, Sweden

PhD in Hydraulic Engineering and Docent in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) of Sweden.
He is currently a principal developer at COMSOL AB in Sweden, where he is responsible for the development of interfaces and tools for modeling various interaction of mechanical and electromagnetic phenomena.

Teaching

For several years, Peter Yakubenko had been an associate professor at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. During his work at COMSOL, he gave a number of courses in numerical modeling and also presented the capabilities of COMSOL Multiphysics software at several conferences.

Research

Before joining COMSOL AB in 2007, he worked at Department of Mechanics at the Royal Institute of Technology, where he was involved in research projecs with the focus on modeling and industrial applications of various mechanical and multiphysics processes.

Numerical Simulation and COMSOL Multiphysics

During his more than 15 years long career at COMSOL, Peter Yakubenko has been involved in many projects in various areas of numerical simulation, such as structural mechanics, electrochemistry and transport, fluid dynamics, electromagnetism, and MEMS.
