Basic Physics Interfaces
Taught by Emilio Ruiz Reina
We will cover multiphysics modeling using the basic physics interfaces of COMSOL Multiphysics, including a brief review of their theoretical foundations.
The course includes sections on electric and magnetic field theory, acoustics, transport of diluted species, laminar fluid flow, heat transfer and structural deformation of solids. It also describes in detail the associated physical interfaces that implement these theoretical equations in the simulation model.
All these basic physics interfaces are available on the main COMSOL Multiphysics platform. They allow us to solve basic problems in electromagnetics, acoustics, fluid flow, heat transfer, chemical species transport and structural deformation.
