Multiphysics

This course comprises the basic description of couplings and the main multiphysics couplings. We will start with an introduction to multiphysics and the classification of uni- and bi-directional couplings. We also list and describe in detail the three levels of couplings using various examples, as well as the techniques available to efficiently solve highly multiphysics problems.

In the second part, once we know the different types and levels of couplings that we can perform, we focus on the theoretical description and configuration of the main multiphysics nodes available (mechanical-heat, fluid-heat, fluid-chemical, chemical-heat, fluid-structure, acoustic-structure, mechanical-electromagnetism, etc).
