MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics
Spring term
Taught by Benjamín Ivorra
In this course we will deal, from a practical point of view, with the generation, control and management of multiphysics simulation models of COMSOL Multiphysics from a general programming in the MATLAB environment.
We will approach multiphysics modeling by programming scripts in the MATLAB environment. This allows us, for example, to create geometries based on probabilistic or image data, perform arbitrary statistical analysis on simulation results, use multiphysics models together with Monte Carlo simulations and genetic algorithms, or export models in state space matrix format for incorporation into control systems. We will also learn how to use external functions created in MATLAB directly from the COMSOL Multiphysics desktop.
- Programming and use of models in MATLAB
- COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB.
- External MATLAB functions
