The Uphill Hip Pack 2 is produced climate-friendly by the use of recycled materials: a certified mass balancing process is used for the siliconised main material. Pyrolysis oil is obtained from old tyres, which is supplied to conventional polyamide production. Chemical recycling saves up to 60% CO2. In addition, this product is climate-neutral: the emissions from materials, manufacturing process and shipping have been holistically determined and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully compensated via the independent non-profit organisation "myclimate".
